Ameche, Edna
Edna Ameche, 92, of Oshkosh formerly of Kenosha, died on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at her home with her family at her side. She was born on December 10, 1921 in Kenosha the daughter of Alfred and Louise Thomas Smith. She married Lynn Ameche in Kenosha. Lynn preceded her in death.
Edna enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking, and was an avid golfer. She and Lynn lived in Tarpon Springs, FL until her move to Oshkosh. Before her retirement in 1970 Edna was a dental assistant at Dr. James Flatley's office in Kenosha.
Survivors include her sons, Martin Lewand and Alan Ameche; daughters, Ellen Busch, Barbara Plecha, and Gail Ameche; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Victor Ameche; granddaughter, Bobbie Plecha; brothers, Paul, Harry, Thomas, and Donald Smith and sisters, Helen Mahoney and Mona Barcome.
Edna's request was to have no services but she will be remembered by her family with love.

Edna will be remembered as a good friend to our family, a caring hand holder at the dentist, and a truly classy lady. So sorry for your loss.

I was so sorry to here of Edna,s death. Even though many years have gone by I have wonderful memories of our time together..the fact that our husbands were brothers is how we got to know each other.they were wonderful years..
