It's incredibly sad to hear of Judy passing. She nurtured the creativity and curiosity of impressionable minds, and have them an outlet to grow and explore. She will be forever missed
May the world come to know more people with the same love and passion for books and children that Judy had! Heaven gained an angel.
I was involved, with many, in the summer reading theatre performances at the Germantown library. Judy had a profound impact on me at such a young age, and bit me with the storytelling bug that still stays with me today. My thoughts are with her family and friends.
I had the pleasure of knowing JFB as first Mother Goose and later as a colleague. There is one more master storyteller in heaven now.
I am grieving this loss more deeply than I can even express. We were "best friends forever" and her place will always be empty in my heart. My tender sympathies to her family.
So sorry for your loss. I'm sure she's found a spot telling stories already - forever Mother Goose.
Judy was such a special person. A wonderful friend to my mom and my family, and a gifted storyteller and children's librarian. I have so many fond memories of Judy that I will always treasure. My deepest sympathy to all.
I have so many wonderful memories of Judy. Such a wonderful person with amazing stories and talents and kindness.
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Judy was a very good friend and mentor in and to the storytelling world.
