I miss you every minute of everyday. My heart is broken. You will always be the love of my life.
I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathies to the Peter family. I recently called Russ to catch up, and became informed about this tragedy.
I worked with Russ as a member of product teams back at Maytag and also on Jenn-Air at Whirlpool. It was so refreshing to work with such a genuine, and all around good person. Russ always did his best to help me and to keep me informed, (I worked in Toronto). Russ was Russ and did not put on any 'airs'. When I was in career transition he went well out of his way to help me. You must be proud to have had such a great father and husband. He left a lasting impression on me.
Sincerely,
Andrew Abrahamse
It's funny as John Ross talks about the Amelia Island trip and Russ told me about it as well. So last month when I went to Amelia Island for the Maytag Commercial Laundry Meeting as a guest speaker, I felt like I had already been there. It was very nice that there were some old Maytag friends there that had fond memories of Russ. It's true that a spirit like Russ' lives in all of us forever. "How much time do you think he spends following Hawkeye recruiting these days in heaven?"
I still think of Russ just about every day, every time I steal one of his sales pitch ideas, or use one of the crazy ones that works. His memeory is alive in Montana. For many years I have talked about russ to my Dealers who think they know him. We had great laughs just the other night over a Magic chef trip to Ameila Island. We miss you Russ and know the stories and memories will never stop.
John Ross
Natalie, I just heard of this last night, what a shock. I never got to meet you, but knowing Russ all through high school, I know you had to be his soul mate. As Jim Kernan mentioned I too was on the floor that 33 rebound night, the seniors on that basketball team were more than teammates, we were friends and family, coming from a small community it keeps everyone grounded in family values. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family. Pass along my prayers to Merlin and Darlene also

Natalie: I'm sorry to hear of Russ's passing. He was taken way too soon. Will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
We are so sad to learn of your loss. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Russ was a great individual. Our hearts and prayers go out for Russ and his family.
My deepest sympathies to all of the Peter family. I enjoyed the time I spent with Russ when he was in Indianapolis, we had lengthy basketball "debates" regarding his Hawkeyes and my Hoosiers and we compared stories about our young children almost daily. May God's peace warm and comfort you.
I love you, Dad. I'm constantly thinking about you and I hope and I pray I can be half the person you are. I miss you so much!
Russ, I'll bet you are wearing Hawkeye garb in heaven! I am proud to say you were my friend. From the days of calling on my family appliance stores while I was a teenager to working with you at Magic Chef/Jenn Air and Maytag, you were always there as a mentor and a friend. Even in the past couple of years as we both began new opportunities, it was great to have you as my true friend. Most important I appreciate the conversations we've had over the past 30 years. They will be missed.
I am most proud of you for what I saw this Friday in Grinnell! You were beaming from above, as you saw your great family say "Good Bye to their "Papa Bear" for now". Natalie, Nicole/Dustin, Lindsay/Adam, Troy, Kourtney, Hayden, Caleb, and Eli will carry on the love, caring, loyalty, drive, generosity, selfless dedication, passion, and "genuiness" that you showed in your life! You touched and were loved by many! One day we will meet again, until then, you will be with all of us with that wit, grin and genuine friendly encouragement! See you on the other side of the mountain! Chris
I worked with Russ at Maytag and Whirlpool- as part of the Builder channel input on Jenn-Air products and projects. Russ always had a good story to tell or or a funny perspective on things and made me laugh. He will be missed greatly but my memory of him will not fade! May God's peace and comfort be with the Peter family.
Natalie and Kids - We are remembering the wonderful times we had when our families went to Rapid City and all the trips we had with the company. We can't forget Russ's great smile. We are so sorry we could not join you in person but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love John and Robyn
It was a pleasure to have known Russ Peter through work at Magic Chef and Jenn-Air. He was a wonderful person, co-worker and friend! My deepest condolences to his family. God Bless you!
I worked at Maytag with Russ from 1997 - 2005 and he was one of my favorite people there. So kind and a great sense of humor. My deepest sympathy to your family at this sad time.
Natalie, my friend, I will never forget the kindness you showed me when I was hurting...I only wish I could be there now for you. Please know that I love you and I am holding you close in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You are not alone...you are loved by many.
I am sad to hear of your recent loss of such a great man. Russ was a special man that always seemed to turn a negative into a positive with his unique sense of humor. My sincere sympathy.
I worked with Russ for a short time in 2011 on a project that supported the Jenn-Air brand and consumer's experience. It was clear that Russ really put his soul into his work and was so passionate. He was a very kind man. My deepest condolences and prayers to all the family.
Words cannot express how sorry I am for his passing. He was in Japan only couple of months ago. After customer visits, we spent night and day discussing how to make things happen for the best of both parties. He truly was the great teammate and I will miss him a great deal. Condolence to family members. Shinji Ikebe - Alliance Laundry System - Regional Sales Manager - Japan
My friend and my mentor. His guidance made me a better teammate, a better friend and a better father. Thank you Russ for being my teacher.
Nicole, Dustin and Caleb, We are so very sorry to hear about Russ. Please know we hold you in our hearts.
Natalie and family, words cannot express how saddened I was to hear about Russ. My thoughts and prayers are with you. All my love.
I am so sorry for your loss. Russ was truly one of the "Good Guys". I only had the pleasure of working with Russ for a short time here at Alliance and still, he has left a permanent impact on my life. His undeniable love of life, family and friendships was infectious. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as memories become the chapters in the celebration of Russ's life.
Natalie and family,
I am terribly saddened to hear this news and offer my deepest condolences. We have lost one of the most even keeled, friendliest, kindest, passionate, hard working individuals I have had the pleasure of calling a friend and co-worker. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I am so sorry for the family and for all of us that have lost a dear and wonderful man far too early. His smile, compassion and sense of humor will be greatly missed. I am so honored to have had him as a fiend.
Troy-
My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy are with you and your family.
Russ worked with us at the Galesburg plant in ref. product planning. Condolences to the family on such a sudden sad passing.
To Russ's Family,
I am very sorry for the loss of Russ. I worked with Russ in Newton for a few years, and have been friends with his sister Kim and her husband Mike for many more years. Russ was a great mentor to me and his sense of humor was legendary. He was a great guy and will be missed.
Sincerely,
Tim Sullivan
My heart was crushed when I heard of Russ' passing. My heart goes out to Merlin, Darlene, Natalie and the kids. I am so sorry for your loss. Russ is such a great class-mate, such a great team-mate (I was on the court the night Russ grabbed 33 boards), such a great friend, and such a great person. I will fondly remember you forever, Russ. There are so many great memories I have of activities and schenanigans Russ and I conspired on. Maybe Russ shared some of the stories. I wish I could be there to share some of these memories with the familiy.
Be strong in knowing that Russ is a great man. May God be with you.
With heartfelt love,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Take care.
Natalie and family,
I'm having trouble finding the words to describe my shock and the sadness that I feel when I think we won't have our buddy Russ around here anymore. Then I think how much worse it must be for you and your family. You have my deepest sympathy. I'm sure you have plenty of great memories of Russ - hang onto those while you grieve. Please know that he was very much loved here at Alliance!

Natalie and family,
Words cannot express our sadness in the passing of Russ. He first started out as my body guard at Magic Chef sales meetings and transitioned into a great boss and friend over the years. He was quick to make others laugh and worked hard to make others around him successful. Having him as a friend made me better. I'm so sorry for your loss. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
You have a big teddy bear angel in heaven smiling down on all of you!

Natalie and Family, I'm very sorry for your loss. Russ was a kind and caring man. His constant smile lit up the room here at Alliance Laundry Systems. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Russ Peters was my friend. We enjoyed the level of friendship which wasn't affected by distance or time away from each other. We met in Minnesota when Russ was just beginning his career with Maytag. He was our rep. We were the same age and had so much in common. We loved our wives, kids, sports, American History and so much more. I am shocked and saddened but his passing. My heart aches for his family. Russ Peters was a very attractive example and a wonderful friend.
I was blessed with the opportunity to work with Russ at Jenn-Air in Benton Harbor. What an incredible man. Funny, intelligent and absolutely crazy about his family. He would tell me stories about Troy and Courtney and how talented they were on the basketball court. He was also smitten with his grandkids! My heart breaks for all of you as you are challenged with this difficult time. May God be with all of you.
Your smile - your kindness will never be forgotten. Many prayers to the family and friends. God Bless.

Natalie, I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Russ. He was the kindest and best of men. His devotion and love for his family was remarkable. I feel like I know all of you through all of his stories and laughter. I am extremely blessed for the too brief of friendship that I was lucky enough to have with him. All the little things he did to brighten up the day will be missed terribly. He has left his imprint and smile in all our hearts. It may be awhile till "we're all good" again, but you will never be far from our thoughts.
I will miss you Russ, and I will never forget you. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
I had the pleasure of working with Russ for just over a year, but in that year he has taught me so much. He taught me to believe in myself and more importantly to fight for what I believe in. He taught me there are not always right answers for every question and to question every right answer. The lessons I've learned from him are invaluable and I am so thankful for the time I had with him. What a blessing he has been to my life and such a true example of a man of God. My deepest sympathies go to Natalie and the kids. You were the pride and joy that Russ always talked about. He will be so deeply missed but as he would say, “It's all good!” What comfort we have to know he is with the Father now.
My deepest sympathies to the Russ Peter Family. Russ was a wonderful, thoughtful and caring man. I had the pleasure of working with him only a short time on the Jenn-Air team in Michigan. He will be greatly missed.
It is amazing the impact a person can make in a very short time. While I only worked with Russ for a year, he quickly became someone that I respected and enjoyed working with. His kindness and goodness were immediately apparent. When I was having a tough day, just a few words from him would send us both laughing and quickly forgetting those day-to-day stresses. I am heartbroken at his passing. We will all miss Russ so much.
His love for his family was so apparent. They were his pride and joy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Natalie and his family.
Thoughts and prayers are with Natalie and the family
I am so very sorry. Natalie, my heart goes out to you and the family -- please know you all were his greatest love and pride in life. You and the children were always his first priority. I can hear him now-- "Happy Wife, Happy Life!".
I was honored to work with him, but more so to call him my friend -- his spirit, generosity and humor are indelibly etched in my person and he touched everyone he met.
Bless all your hearts and may you find peace knowing he is in a better place, forever watching over us. You will never be without his guidance, spirit and love. -- Kathryn Rowen
I only knew Russ for a short time and I realized immediately that he was a kind and thoughtful person. We will all miss him so much. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
We are honored and blessed to have had Russ in our lives. It is his infectious smile and ability to make any situation ‘cheerful' is what I will miss the most. His focus on his family was admirable. It was obvious that he adored his wife and family more than anything. Russ, you have made an imprint on our hearts forever. Our ‘work' and personal lives are fuller from knowing you. Thank you for all you taught us along with the encouraging words, ‘high fives' and always telling us ‘It's all good'. It was ‘all good' having known you. Our thoughts and prayers of support go to Natalie and his wonderful family.
I've worked with Russ for the past year in Ripon. Words cannot describe how heartbroken I am with his passing. He was kind, inspiring, and was someone who I admired greatly. For me, he was the ‘voice of reason' on tough days, my ‘go-to,' who always offered a unique perspective and knew just what to say. And on the good days, he was the one I couldn't stop laughing with! His energy and his sense of humor was contagious and everyone couldn't help but want to be around him. He was a great man – one I will never forget. I have learned things from Russ that I will carry with me forever and will pass on to others in his memory. My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends. My heart, prayers and thoughts are with you.
Russ, I will cherish our memories forever. I will never forget you.
Heaven has received a great person. Russ was a great friend and mentor. Even though I only knew Russ for a year he will stay in my memory for ever. God bless his wife and children.
I knew Russ only one year but he has changed me in a positive way. I will always remember the guidance he gave me. My prayers to Russ's family.
Nothing but fond memories of spending time with Russ and his family while growing up. Natalie, we are sorry for your loss and pray the God comforts you and your family.
