I will always remember sharing a room with Jim and Dominic at the Pow Wow at Bad River. We discovered Grandma Barnes' one room school house on that trip and Jim was so happy. Jim and I danced in the circle where his grandmother and mother and uncles danced. My next trip to the reservation I will dance in his footsteps.
Jim may you be at peace with the creator and my prayer is that you are with your mother who you mourned for all these years.
You will be in my heart always

I hope God helps you all through this time of sadness. My family and I are thinking of you all.

Spending time late in life discovering extended family ties will continue to bring me joy. Thank you Grant Family for expanding my family tree that did and always will shelter Jimmy.

Sincerely,
Karen Murray (Borgstrom) Broadhead

I have many found memories of the Grant's house on 54th st. Always felt welcome. The Grants took me on my first camping trip, we almost lost the camper on the side of the road but Mr Grant managed to wrangle it back onto the van! My sympathies.

I have many find memories of the Grant house on 54th St. There was always a friendly welcome. The Grants took me on my first camping trip, the camper almost got away, but Mr Grant managed to wrangle it back on to the van and off we went! Thanks for the memories! My sympathies.
