Our deepest condolences to your family. Pastor Scovil baptized all six of us one Sunday and married my husband and me over 45 years ago. My memories of Plymouth include Christmas Programs, CE, Girls for Christ, VBS, Sunday School, Church Camp, and even some time on the Missionary Board. (Shirley was wonderful often providing a ride when we would have been unable to go to church otherwise - she is a true woman of grace). Our family always received such a warm welcome and this strong Christian foundation was critical to all of us. Pastor Scovil's kindness and leadership were remarkable.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Pat (Withers)Visser, Linda, Hal, Peggy, Grant, Doug and my mom, Florence.

We have such wonderful memories of Pastor Lynn. He was such a kind, gentle, humble man of God. He always had a smile and an encouraging word for everyone he encountered. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time.

Reverend Scovil was a warm, humble, and friendly man. He inspired others with his message of faith and charity with his positive message and deeds. We enjoyed interacting with him professionally and personally. He truly brought a light to the world.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Shirley, and to your extended family.

Dear Scovil family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers today as you celebrate the home going of your father. Thank you for sharing Pastor Scovil with my family as well as countless others..A faithful minister of God's Word, a devoted husband, loving father first and foremost. He I am sure has heard that "Well done thou good and faithful servant...."

Carol & Greg

Our thoughts and prayers are with you today as you say your final goodbyes. You guys and your father have been a great inspiration to me since we first met back at the Christian Cinema through the years up to his officiating my wedding. No matter how far away my life has taken me you've been that faith family that I could always come home to. Your father's God inspired wisdom helped to create the foundation of my faith as it is today. I truly believe God is smiling down and saying well done my good and faithful servant, as your father truly was a man after Gods heart. May the Lord strengthen you and support you and your family in the days to come and May you rest in peace that he is in a better place praising our Heavenly Father with the hosts of Angels.

My deepest regrets that we are unable to make it over to Oshkosh to support you on this day.

I had the great pleasure of meeting this kind man at my place of business last April. My dad had just passed away at the time and I mentioned that to him and he was so kind and caring and had a hug for me and blessed me. Such a sweetheart he was and that hug from him meant the world to me. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

My prayers are with you, Carol and Greg. It is so very hard to lose your parent. I remember your Dad very well, Carol. Such a wonderful man. Dad always talked highly of him. Take one day at a time. He will remain with you forever.

Paula and I are saddened by the news of Pastor Scovil's passing, but joyful for a race well-run and now eternity with Jesus. Pastor Lynn was my first post-college "boss" and a wonderful example of how to love those entrusted to us.

We've never forgotten the warmth and kindness he and Shirley extended to two young newlyweds, all those years ago. Condolences to the entire family. Sweet rest, Pastor Lynn.
