Albrecht, Elaine G.
Elaine G. Albrecht, age 87, of Oshkosh, WI passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Bethel Home. She was born December 29, 1925, the daughter of Clarence and Lydia Warnke Villnow. Elaine is a 1944 graduate of Oshkosh High School. She married Lawrence A. Albrecht on December 22, 1961, he preceded her in death in November of 1985.
Elaine was a lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Elaine worked for Hirschberg's Department Store and Ted Hoyer & Co. Inc. where she retired from.
Survivors include Cousins: Edward (Clarice) Warnke and Robert (Beth) Warnke. Cousin thru marriage Marjorie Hess of Palm Springs, CA. Special cousins Bonnie Boushele; Ronald Blau; Carrie Warnke and Ben Warnke. Special good friends Martha and Garry Blomberg.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two sisters Betty Villnow and Germaine Villnow.
A special thank you to the hospice nurses who took such good care of Elaine until her death.
A Memorial Service for Elaine will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 5:00 pm in the Fiss and Bills Poklasny Funeral home, the Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home Wednesday from 4pm until the time of services. A Memorial has been established to First English Lutheran Church and their Sunday School.
