Ron set me on the path of studying the forms of nature, through figures and flowers. He was also the model for my approach to post-secondary teaching, which served me well. RIP.

Ron was my professor at UWO in the mid 90's.He was an amazing professor and artist who tought me so much about color and seeing and creating beauty. He retired and moved to Mane shortly after I graduated and I regret not speaking with him sence. I will miss him greatly. My condolences go out to his family for their loss of this truly beautiful and unique man who touched so many so deeply.

Ron was one of my teachers way back in 1978-82. I learned so much from him about looking carefully at the world around me. I think of him when I see look at the white of the snow and am able to see a wonderful range of color. I'm sure there are hundreds of other past students that remember him fondly. Rest in peace.
