Carolyn, I couldn't be there but I am so happy that you had such a wonderful father!
Truly it is such a blessing and foundation for the rest of your life. I hope to talk to you soon. I will send my card to Precour as I couldn't determine how long you were going to stay down there. Love you my friend, who has always been there for me. See you soon!

My prayers go out to the Stowell family. Mr.Stowell is with his beloved wife Margaret. His life is an example to follow. I have many fond memories of the Stowell family in my life. God bless you all.

I knew Mr. Stowell through our church, Strathmoor United Methodist Church. His son, Don, was one of my best friends growing up, and one summer they took me on a trip to Boston to take care of an aging family member, and we had a blast. Mr. Stowell was often an usher in church, and his wife, Margaret, sang in the choir, and we considered them part of our extended family. He was a man of honor who always had a smile for everybody, and my thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
