So very sorry to have missed the opportunity to pay my respects to Cora. She had childlike exuberant love of history and did such excellent research at the Pontiac Library. She was the leader in the placement of the Elizabeth Dennison Forth historical marker at Oak Hill Cemetery, commemorating the first African American to own land in Pontiac. Richard Austin, then Secretary of State of Michigan, came to the dedication. A great day! To know Cora was to love her! No doubt of the blessings upon the hundreds and hundreds of students who were lucky to have her for a teacher in Pontiac schools. May she rest in eternal bliss with Our Lord, and may Ron and the family be consoled for the loss of this great lady

Ms. Bradshaw was my son Steve's teacher years ago. He is now 50 years old. She even came to our church service during the July 4, 1976 celebration and was my Tupperware customer. She was an excellent teacher and a very nice lady. May she rest in peace and reap her rewards.
