Loving husband of Dorothy for 34 years; dear father of Philip (Tammy) Abraira, Becky Abraira, and Jeannette (Arnold) Sese; grandfather of Arie (Kevin), Bianca (Paul), Leah (D.J.), Emily, Jonas, Madaline, Micah, Nora, Myles, Madison, and Matthew; great grandfather of Kevin, Cameron, Eli, Peyton, and D.J.; beloved son of Mary and the late Lawrence. Brother of Larry Sanders and Barbara (Dale) Brown. Dean was an avid hunter and fisherman. Funeral Service Tuesday, June 3, 2014, 11 a.m. with an Instate time of 10 a.m. at Auburn Hills Christian Center, 2592 E. Walton Blvd., Auburn Hills. The family will receive friends Monday 3 to 9 p.m. at the Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell Rd., Orion. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Suggested memorials to Angela Hospice. I met Dean and his wife in November of 2012, when I moved across the street. He was always very committed to his home and neighborhood. He will be missed.

My my my I just heard the news about our neighbor we had always seen taking such great care of his yard. My heart goes out to his wife, we never met but Vic and I, were're right across the street and here if we can do anything for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and those that knew Dean.
