Grandma Getzan was a wonderful lady to many of us. She was kind, caring, loving and so patient. She took care of me from a newborn about until I was 5. She also took great care of my little brother. We will miss her dearly. Sending strength and prayers too all of her family and friends.

I knew the day I put my three month old daughter in Doris's arms that she would take wonderful care of her. She was "Grandma Getzan" to Emily and my son Donald for many years. I was always grateful to have such a sweet, caring and loving person to care for my children while I worked full-time. We all are so sorry for your loss. She sure touched the hearts of many.

This is sad. We remember when 'Gran-ma' Doris watched our son Ryan when he was very young at her house.
