Dorothy was my great grandma who I loved, still do love, and will always be in my heart. I'm writing this message months after she has already passed because still, everyday I think about her, and how heroic she was. She was a great example of a strong, capable woman that could be a leader. She will always be my role model to become a leader myself and push myself to go further than my goals and dreams.

To the family:
My Nana is her daughter and sure had a rough time with this, just as did her brothers and sister. They went through a lot, but they taught me that "no matter what happens, she will always be with us in our hearts". You know what? She is still teaching me something everyday even though she is not with us. She is still the confident brave strong and smart independent woman we all knew her for. She fought for 6 whole years against cancer! She was so strong that she never let it beat her! She always acted like a strong brave person, and everyday still to this day reminding us of what humanity should look like... Laughter... Joy... Happiness... Some sadness... and overall love for one and other. Stop and think... how could I make my life better... just by pushing my limits and testing myself? Dorothy Jones, my great grandma was the one who showed my how to be myself. Never give up.

We so enjoyed Dorothy's kindness, bright smile, and genuine humor. She always looked like the picture of health and glowed radiantly during Kelsey and Morgan's wedding. She dearly loved her family and generously shared herself with friends. As a young girl playing with Kelsey, Sam and Jack, Dorothy would always treat Audrey as one of the grandchildren. What a wonderful lady! She will be dearly missed. Love-The Belf Family

I am so very sad to read of Dorothy's passing. She was a wonderful person and resident in Secord Twp. She will be missed here on earth.

So sad to hear of Dorothy's passing. She was a great lady, dedicated to her faith, and family. We will miss her.
