I met Richard later in his life while he was ill through his dear wife Sharon. Richard endured a long battle of illness. His determination to live was admirable. My condolences goes out to his family and friends.
To the Hernandez Family,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Richard. I knew him from the neighborhood, the Boys Club, and Jr. High sschool. Once Richard knew you, then you were his friend. He always greeted his friends with respect, a big smile and a good hand shake. Richard walked with pride, for himself and very proud of his family. I am very proud to have known him. Good memories of Richard always.
With Sympathy from one of his many friends.
Sincirely, Ron Rushing

To Sharon and the rest of Rich's family: You have my deepest sympathy. I enjoyed working with Rich at Truck when we were both in Office Services. I know it will be greatly missed by his family and friends. You are in my thoughts. Donna (Rushing) Ross
