Mike and Janice, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find comfort from your church family and friends both now and in the months to come.
Although we never met Rory, we felt we knew him because of all of the wonderful stories. Our prayers are with both of you, when we cannot be. May God's angels hold you and may He grant you peace.
Thanks for your service to our country. RIP
To the family of LCpl.Rory Dalgliesh,
Rory,s name may not be on a Wall in Wash. or under a Memorial of other wars. But find peace your hearts knowing that he was special. You see Jesus thought he was special when He said "Greater love has none than one who would lay done his life for those he loves." Even though there is a empty
place in your hearts the no one else can fill Rory was special to God.

We were very saddened to hear the news of Rory - our thoughts and prayers are with Mike and Janice at this most difficult time. You raised a smart, handsome, good soul and he has left us too soon. God Bless.
I pray for you and your family dealing with the loss of a great son, hero, marine and brother. I hope that this time is not one of sorrow and of pain but of joy and laughter as you remember all the good that Rory has done, all the jokes hes told or been a part of, and the love he has for his friends, family, and country.
I respect all those who wear a uniform to protect this great country of ours. It is a sad thing when our troops pass away. Prayer to Rory's family, and, I thank him for his oath to protect freedom. May he watch over those he loved from Heaven.

I would like to send condolences to Rory's family, being a veteran myself my family sends our prayers to our fallen brother and all his family, may god comfort you all.
I never knew Rory. I was never a Marine. What I am is a former Army soldier and combat veteran. The death of any of my brothers and sisters is a tragedy that I take personally. I pray peace for the Dalgliesh family and Godspeed to Rory on his new journey. Rest in peace, Marine.
Rip. Thank you for your service.
Have not met Rory in person, seen many of his pictures. I remember when he was born, 3 days after my Son. I just can't imagine your pain and sadness from this tragedy. Rory was taken away too soon. Janice and Mike, you have been in my thoughts. I wish to convey my deepest sympathy to you and the entire family. May God lift you and help see you through the difficult days ahead. You will be in my prayers and thoughts. May God rest his beautiful soul.
My heart is heavy and the tears flow for your family and all of his 2/8 brothers. My son served with Rory in Afghanistan and had the honor of being his brother 2/8 Marine. I know he is now standing tall with Ian, Sgt. Garrison, and SSgt Malachowski at the gates of Glory. I look to the day when we will all be together one glorious day and my son can introduce me to Rory in person. Until then rest easy Marine and Semper Fi!!
Rory was one of my Marines while I was a Platoon Commander for 1st Platoon, Alpha Company, Wounded Warrior Battalion East at Camp Lejeune. Rory was a Marine who truly loved his fellow Brothers in Arms. He always was smiling; always in a good mood. His smile was infectious. I have personally lost too many friends and Marines at such a young age. It breaks my heart. I pray Rory's family finds peace, and know Rory is standing tall with his brothers at the pearly gates of heaven, and will forever be looking down on them.
Your family is in my thoughts & prayers.
