Our family is so sad to hear of this. I asked our girls if they remembered her. Dawn Stuart Wyatt responded - "Oh yeah!! I knew her!! She was great!! She was very nice! I do NOT see a 75 year old in my head! She was a kid!! She was happy!! She was great!!". Danette Stuart Meny said - Oh my soul! Yes! I loved her! I was her student aide one year. She was absolutely wonderful! She had such a gentle strength about her. I don't ever remember her raising her voice. But she always maintained control of the class.". Haven't heard from our daughter, Deanna Stuart Traver, yet. I'm sure that our daughter, Doreen Renee Stuart would remember her too.

I was so sad to hear Ms. Stephens passed away. I want the family to know how special she was. Ms. Stephens was my science teacher in high school. She was instrumental in developing my passion for science and discovery. I had taken all the science classes that Clarkston High School offered and Ms. Stephens allowed me to do independent study in her class. We had some great fun. For one of my studies, I fed saccharin to mice to see if they developed liver cancer. Panic occurred when they all got out of their cages during Christmas break and ran wild in the teachers lounge. Ms. Stephens helped me capture most of them alive so the experiment could be completed. I also recall cloning a frog in her class and although it did not live long, she kept it in formalin on her shelf and shared the story with future classes. I am blessed to have had a mentor as wonderful as Ms. Stephens. The world will miss her. I am confident she is in a better place. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.

My dear Holly, you have been and will continue to be missed by many. You taught me so much about theater. I always enjoyed hearing about your adventures to different countries, and travels all over the world. And you generosity to others while in Africa. Your laughter fills my heart with memories from Youth Theater where you were a huge supporter and dear friend. You have left your mark on the hearts of so many people's lives. God Bless you.
