Jim deserved more than just a couple of lines in the newspaper. He was not a genius or a saint. He was not a hero or a forward thinker. He was just a man who made his way through life the best way he knew. And he was my true friend. Butch Briggs.

Jim was a great co-worker for many years...he always had a smile for you...I loved working with him...so sorry for your loss

Jim was a big teddy bear. We worked together for many years at Walnut Creek Middle School. He used to give me a hard time about selling stuff for Student Council during lunch hours. Jim would also tease me about retiring. He told me that when I retired, I'd move to Florida and sell junk at their flea markets! Jim had a heart of gold. And even though he grumbled sometimes, whatever I needed or wanted got done! He will be missed!

Jim always made me smile! Such a beautiful voice. I miss him! My love to his daughter and the rest of his family.

XOXO Love, Tana
