Lew, you were practically my father. I will always love and miss you. It has almost been a year, I still think about you everyday. Remember going to slows BBQ and Tremonte? I remember we were at Tremonte one night and we had the best of times with "Mrs. Garlic."

Today I am remembering a Renaissance Man and those Renaissance Days, lessons that will last a lifetime, and Lew's guidance and friendship - highly valued, never forgotten. Thanks, Lew.

Lew, you were the very best loving caring son to your mother. You were a mentor to so many including myself. We had so many memorable times together. No one loved to have dinner plans more than you. You always took your left overs and purchased additional meals to feed the homeless in and around the old Greektown. You made generous gifts to Children's Hospital and other charities in both your mother's name and your own name. You introduced me to my wife and you were the very best Godfather to our 2 children. I am forever grateful.

Rest in peace Lew, we had some good times, some good laughs. It was always a pleasure to see you. A real gentleman, I'll always remember you that way. Put in a good word for me pal.....
