We are so grateful that we had an opportunity to get acquainted with Noel over the last sam4 or 5 months. He sat at the same table as our dad who also lives there. We would see him mostly at dinner time at Brookdale Sr Living. And sometimes we saw him at breakfast time. We enjoyed talking to him about his life. He was a WW2 veteran just like my father John Canedo and was over 90 just like my dad. There were 2 other WW2 veterans who also sat at our dinner table and were over 90. We would call them the dream team of WW2. Noel was in the airforce and my dad was in the marines. The other 2 were in the Navy. We are so sad that Noel will not be there anymore. He was charming, pleasant, funny, and later we found out that he was a talented singer. May Noel foever rest in peace. We send our deepest condolences to his family .

I loved my Uncle Noel and I have such fond memories of him from our summer visits to Michigan. He was fun, easy to talk to, and had a great sense of humor. But most importantly, my Uncle Noel was a consistent example of Christ to me through his words, actions, and attitude. When I see Uncle Noel again in eternity, I hope to fully learn - with him present - how God used his witness in my life to plant those early seeds of the Gospel in my heart, and how he influenced the trajectory of my life to a saving faith in Christ. Thank you Uncle Noel! And I'll see you on the "other side!"

Dad had a wonderful mixture of passionate beliefs in Jesus and heaven. He shared his heart full of hopes, giving words of encouragement for every one of his loved ones.We were blessed to have him on loan from heaven so long. He is greatly missed but rests well in heaven, cheering us on.

Such a sweet man. I remember he always had a smile and a gentle spirit. Praying for all of you.
