When I was little we lived next to Auntie Ruth in Dallas Texas. It was about 1963 to 1965. She had a squrril and a Green Parikett that tied my hair in knots. My name is Angel. My parents are Melba and Don Beckwith. Rest in peace Auntie Ruth.

I just recently heard that my dear friend had passed. She was such a sweet and caring lady and I have missed her letters and calls the last few years. My sympathy to RuthAnn and George.

Mrs. Ruth Norkus has been a long time family friend of ours and has known me since the day I was born.
As my mother's best friend, she has been there from the very beginning of my life, all the way up to my wedding day, where she traveled a long way to come to the ceremony and she even allowed my husband and I to stay with her one time on a trip up here to "Hotel Ruth", giving us some of her yummy oatmeal cookies for the road. :)
Such a sweet soul! She will truly be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the entire "Norkus" family during this difficult time.
Much love, Jeanette(Blake)and Kevin Kemp
xoxo
