Nicholas Brainard Obituary

Nicholas Berry Brainard Nicholas Brainard passed away July 28, 2013 in Olympia, Washington. He was born October 13, 1948 in Pasadena, California, to Ceylon Harry Brainard, Jr. and Marjorie Morgan Berry Brainard. Nick graduated from Arcadia High School in Arcadia, California. He served in the U.S. Army (1969-1975) during the Vietnam War. Professionally, he was a licensed masonry contractor for 35 years (member of the Santa Barbara Masonry Union Local No. 5), business owner, and real estate investor. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and working on his real estate portfolio. Nick is survived by his sons, Quinn Brainard and Kai Brainard; daughters, Diessa Brainard and Tian Brainard; five grandchildren; brother, Tony Brainard; and sister, Becky Brainard. He was predeceased by his parents and son, Finner Brainard. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 1232 Wilson St NE, Olympia 98506.
