R.I.P Terri.
April 06, 2013
Terri brought her special "force", to the State Archives and the Office of Secretary of State for 15 wonderful years. She combined her love of people and history with her lively humor and bouncing creativity. No idea was too crazy to laugh about and worthy historical projects constantly sought her out. She will always be remembered for her ability to convince the poles of personalities to work together and join hands on the same project. Her smiling enthusiasm and her positive energy helped us bring the importance of the archives closer to the people of Washington.

She believed in the goodness in all of us and reached out to help others in need. She carried her own burdens with such grace, dignity and humor that she inspired others. Her wisdom and her experiences allowed her to realize that life is short so she poured her positive energies into projects that would benefit others and last for decades. Even while she battled her cancer, she worried about the health and celebrations of colleagues who recently passed.

We all have special memories of Terri that will keep her alive in our hearts. She often volunteered for local historical projects as if she could not do enough at work. Every day people will be connected, experience joy, and even smile, thanks to Terri and her efforts to persuade hundreds of volunteers to preserve Washington's history and make it available to the world.

We so enjoyed working with Terri and her special "force". We extend our sympathy to Mike and her family and give thanks for her life.

Terri
The sun has gotten dimmer and will not be the same without your sunny disposition. Thank you for sharing your daughter's story. It reached out to many people.

You and Nellie are together again.

I have only known you and Mike for just a short period of time but have filled it with joy and laughter.

You will always be remembered.

At this time, I extend my sympathy to Mike and the rest of your family. God Bless your memory and your family.
Your library friend,
Richard B
