Ron was part of the Heart Transplant patient group participating in the Sun Run, Education days, Christmas parties, and Heart Home Events.
He was a proud example of how organ donation works. We will miss him.

Maureen and Family , We were so shocked and saddened to hear about Ron's passing. We will always remember Ron for his sense of humour , Ron touched many lives including ours, he had a heart of gold. I too, have great memories of Ron, his humor always reminded me of Hawkeye Pierce from MASH. I know everyone that had the honor to know Ron is sad to know that he was taken too soon but will ALWAYS be thought of with a little chuckle and a smile. Although I have not known Ron a long time, I did enjoy a number of rounds of golf with him. He was always very positive and encouraging and will be missed.
Ron's and my family go way back to when Ron and I were 2. We've stayed in touch over these years and I will deeply miss him. His sense of humour and positive attitude are to aspire to. My dad was my hero. He couldn't fly or leap tall buildings in a single bound, but he was always there. He was funny, caring, witty and he always had something to say. He taught me many things and he will be missed every single day but never forgotten.
