I worked with Ben for 20 years at Gordon's and miss his sense of humour. He was one of the only people I looked for to provide me with direction when everything looked hopeless. Gaye my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Almost every week day I have seen Ben and Gaye out walking in Dunbar or having coffee together at Starbuck's. Ben always had a smile and kind words to share. He was particularly fond of my my golden retriever Lexie, and would always inquire after her if she wasn't with me. My thoughts are with Gaye and family upon the loss of Ben.
Deepest sympathies Gaye. You both remain part of my fondest memories of Vancouver and life at DHUC. Bens support and humor during many of our bell ringing performances were appreciated so much and bring a smile to my face to this day. It was also a huge comfort to know your back door was always open. Huge hugs and kisses.
Thank you for the memories when you were back east and seeing you in Vancouver .
Our thoughts are with you Gaye and your family . He will be sadly missed

I have so many wonderful memories of Ben...he taught me a lot as I started out in my career at Gordon's. He was like a second father to me, and I enjoyed our talks during our rides home together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Kelly and Bill Evans
