GELUCH, Margaret S. (née Corcoran)
February 3, 1918 - February 24, 2013
Margaret passed away peacefully after 95 wonderful years. She travelled the world and saw and experienced places that most people only see on documentaries. Now the final journey. Margaret will be sadly missed by family and friends. A private family service will be held.

For three summers I worked at an air cadet gliding school near Red Deer Alberta and after camp, before school started, I headed to the coast for a week to ten day holiday. In those three years I sponged off my aunt Margaret. That first year, out of the blue, she got a call from her sister's number two son looking for a place to crash and without hesitation or question she offered her home and hospitality. What great fun - a warm hug and welcome, incredible cooking and good conversation. You learn so much more about your own parents from others then you ever do directly from them! Margaret expanded my sense of family and a bonus was some time well spent getting to know Terry and a few visits with Heather. Life grabs us and takes us on our journey and there were no more visits. It was simply a good family connection to have made and it has stayed with me. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and warm memories Margaret. May God bless you and hold you dear.
All my love
