Dennis Earnshaw Obituary

Aug. 28, 1947 - Nov. 11, 2014

Den died peacfully with family by his side on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. He was a proud San Francisco native born on Aug. 28, 1947 to Mary and Bob Earnshaw. He was a St. Michael Elementary School survivor. Den graduated from Westmoor High School in 1965.

While living in Vacaville, Den was very active in the Will C. Wood Sports Booster Club. His efforts helped start the bingo fundraising drive.

Den was most proud of his four children and his 12 grandchildren. He is survived by son, Matthew and wife Roxanne and their children Madison, Caitlin, and Abigail; daughter, Denise and husband Andrew and their daughter Natalie; daughter, Emily and husband Justin and their children Xavier, Charlize, Sebastian, Judah, and Asher; son, Bob and wife Juliet and their children Eli, Jane, and Rose. Also mourning him are brothers, Mike and wife Rose, and K.C. and wife Jo; nieces, nephews, and cousins too numerous to mention were so very dear to him.

Please join the family in celebrating Den's life at Most Holy Rosary Church in Antioch at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 19. A reception will follow.

Mike&Rose: Sincere sympathy to all your family. So many fond memories of our youth in the old neighborhood by Riordan. We had it good, and Denny was a big part of it! Sounds like he had a fine life, but Denny has passed on way too soon! I remember when Denny & other neighborhood boys tried to smoke one of my dad's Toscanelli cigars. They all got sick, & they canonized my Dad to sainthood for being able to tolerate the cigars. Good memories! Sorry, can't be at funeral mass :(. Love & God bless, Marianne
