My condolences to the Cobb family. Mike had many friends.
Hard to believe that one of my oldest friends is gone. I've known Mike and brothers Larry and Mark since we were very little kids living in Hickam Village on Oahu. We had many great times creating mischief around the neighborhood. Our two families became very close. The Cobb family moved to Vacaville about a year after we did. (This was around 1962) Our dads retired and when on to other careers. We lived a block from each other and went to high school at the same time. Both of us were drafted into the Army around the same time. I never did much hunting but have had many great times fishing with Mike, Mark and Larry. We have all kept somewhat in touch over the years. I have a special place in my heart for all of the Cobb family and will miss Mike very deeply.
God asked for a special guide to teach the young of the special moments of life.
This was Michael. He could tell stories of special hunting and fishing trips that could even amaze the best of us. He was a guy who loved the outdoors and was always willing to share his experience and knowledge with us.
The Letts Lake crew will miss you. You taught many of us the joy of hunting and fishing and what a great joy it was to be among friends and family.
We will miss your great cooking, laughter, chats around the camp fire, and great stories how the big one got away. But most of all, will miss your friendship and your love of life.
Letts lake will never be the same without you and your family there but you will always be in our hearts around a big old campfire.
Mike I can here your laugh in my head. I will always remember it and your smile. I had a lot of good times with you and Donna. Mike was the best swing dancer. I couldn't keep up. We will all miss you Mike. Marie
The great times with Mike helped shape a lot of our adult lives.
