My condolences to the Cole family. I met Mrs. Cole my first day assigned to the 349th at Travis AFB. Mrs. Cole trained me and wathed me progress in the Reserves. I would run into her in the BX, she would give me the smile and stop to talk about her family and grandchildren, who brought her so much joy. RIP Mrs. Cole you will be missed.

I also worked with Nita at the 349th, she was a great person to work with. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family.

Will never forget our 349th Air Mobilty Wing Honorary Chief Nita Cole! I worked next to her on many events and I always admired her support and commitment towards our troops. No matter who any one was, she always treated everybody as a friend. You will be missed Nita but you will remain in our hearts forever. I salute you Chief Cole! My prayers and thoughts to family and friends.

Nita was such a god send to so many while at the 349th AMW!! She gave her all to everyone and her expertise and caring nature was awesome! I have only fond memories of Nita and I owe her so so much for all the assistance to me over my many years at Travis AFB. I owe my accomplishments largely to her and she was my sage mentor!! May she rest in peace and glory with our lord!!!! Ralph A Anthenien, Col, Ret, USAF (past 55th Aerial Port Squadron Commander at Travis AFB)

I have so many wonderful memories of dear sweet Nita. We worked together for many years at Travis AFB. She was an honorary CMSgt, an honor very few civilians get to experience. She was dedicated to taking care of the troops during her time with the 349th. To the family - I'm so sorry for your loss and send prayers and love your way.
