I remember when I joined the California
Golf Club in 1980...I met Ken Venturi whose best pals then were Ray Stoddard, Walt Gilliam, Bob Oligher, Miles Dooher, Art Schumacher, and Fred Benetti...Many have left us but there memory lives in our hearts...I had alot of fun with these men and they were best of friends...We had many golf games and lunches around the San Francisco and Bay Area...I know he is with all his friends now who have played through the California Golf Club...May he rest in peace...May the family be honored to know that their DAD was a GREAT MAN...I feel priviliged to have known him.

My condolences to the Venturi family. Isn't it comforting to know that we'll beable to see our loved ones once again in the near future ....

Sympathy and prayers to Mr. Venturi's family, he will certainly be missed by many. I had the pleasure of meeting him in '78, on a plane from Marco Island. I was just a teenager and will always remember this smiling, kind man. God bless.
