Hey Ryan..I just saw that early evening at outback and the bartender said that you were a frequent nice customer, and I said say hi to your mom and dad ... it was good seeing you and I almost did not recognized u..lol..and u said your name .. then today I was so schocked that you decided to be with the Lord ... I was so saddened with the news .. and also felt sad for the love ones u left behind ... I only knew you a bit ... and enjoyed being part of the Casa Vargas noche buena dinner every year.. except this year ... hope everything goes well up there .. you are in heavenly peace ..

Ryan, You were always a great friend to me even though we haven't been able to see each other for a few years but we always kept in contact via phone calls, text and facebook. You have always been there! You will always be remembered as the happy go lucky guy whom everyone loved! I am praying for you, your friends, family and those three beautiful girls. May your soul rest and we will meet again one day!

Dear Ryan, my prayers are with you to be recieved in heaven and continue playing the game with the best. You were loved so much on this earth. I remember all the laughs at Sandalwood. Prayers for your daughters and family to have peace. Love and prayers forever.

The Lord sure does work in mysterious ways but Step-Dad was right today about Ryan being with The Lord now!
He was a wonderful person and I hope the entire family will take comfort in the beautiful memories you have of spending time with him, and do not forget, someday we will all be together again, Amen!

To a great ball player who I remember watching play when I was younger.. I stared in amazement, on the edge of my seat while I watched Ryan Freel play for the Cincinnati Reds. I was always excited to go watch. I will always be a Freel fan and a Reds fan. Prayers and thoughts for the family, friends, and fellow teammates. <3

Norma, Pat and Freel family...I'm so sorry to hear of Ryan's passing. May you find peace and comfort in the days ahead. During Ryan's playing days he made great conversation for my dad Armando and Tio Raul. My siblings and I still have the autographed baseball Ryan signed and Pat gave my dad. RIP Ryan

Today a little piece of my heart was laid to rest. Ryan you had my heart from the first time I met you. We have laughed, cried, joked, smiled and had good times and bad times together. I would never go back and change any of it. You taught me how to live my life for today and not look back at yesterday, to have hope for tomorrow and to NEVER SAY NEVER!. I am truly blessed to have had you in my life. You were an amzing friend that will remain near and dear to my heart. Thank you for the amazing memories you hve given me. I will cherish them forever. One of my fondest memories is when the you and the girls came to visit me at work and we played dress up and played like we were manneuines in the window. We had the best time acting like we were little kids just like the girls. My heart goes out to your mom, Clark and the girls. You were such an amazing father and your eyes just lit up any time you were with them. I am truly blessed to have been introduced to them and have such an amazing friendship with your mom now as a result. Thank you for that. You will never be forgotten Ryan Freel. I look forward to the day that we will all see you again in Heaven. You will always have a special place in my heart!
