To David and family, so very sorry for your loss. Hack was a wonderful person and a great neighbor when he and Sara lived in East Coventry. It was our first home across the street from them. We were the young family on the block but Hack and Sara were very welcoming and so nice right out of the gate. Hack always had a smile to offer and I loved when I would see him collecting those little hickory nuts at the end of their driveway. I'm sure these were for Sara to do some baking. Congregating at the end of any of the neighboring driveways on a Saturday or Sunday morning was always such a pleasant time and way to connect and catch up with each other. Hack shared several postcards of his travels after moving from the East Coventry area. It was always nice to receive his Christmas card which was generally a picture of him at Shannondell.
I hope you find comfort in the full life Hack lived and the outward friendship he extended to others. I did. Cathy Kelley
