In Loving Memory of Travis Robinson who passed away on May 2, 2012.

It's been nearly seven months and every day there's a different memory that comes to mind. Travis was and still is my best friend. Walking through life, he touched so many people, and now, in heaven, he still does, just in a different way. I pray for everyone who knew Travis, who felt his love and compassion. Right now, with the holiday season upon us, it will be hard, but Travis always was the most excited to give, not receive, when it came to this time of year. And his number one goal was to make people smile. The last thing we should do is frown these next few months. I will always look to him for advice, even if it won't be as visible or in person as it once was.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
New International Version (NIV)
Believers Who Have Died
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord's word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

One of the joys of believing is knowing that we will be reunited with our loved ones that have gone before us. As you go through this difficult time, it can be hard to pray. Please know that there are others praying for your comfort, peace and guidance out of this dark valley.

To my family in this hour of sorrow. Remember the child we raised who became a beautiful and loving man we lost. He touched all of us in a very special way that cannot be forgotten. There will be tears today but know he is in God's arms for evermore. We all pray that we meet him again eternally.

Though I never had the honor to meet you, by knowing your brother and sister I know that you, like them, are a person. I count it as loss that I never did get to meet you but someday I will and, along with everyone else waiting in our Lord's arms, we will have one huge celebration. And there and then there will be no more sadness, no more tears, just unthinkable happiness, and I'll have an eternity to get to know you. "Death, where is your sting? Grave, where is your victory?"

You are my big brother. You preceeded me in life and uve done the same in death. I can not cry enough tears to bring you back. I keep asking why ans get no answer but for now I will assume that there was some good that he saw in doin this to our family. Caidyn will never know his uncle Travis, and we'll never see u excited about a new paitball gun again. But I know that u are in a beautiful place. I keep being told that you were not built for this place, and I guess thats true. I just wish we had one more day, ome hour, one minute. I never told u enough when u were here but I love you so much. Please give us strength to get through this. I love u forever and always.
