Debbie Davis Finau

Las Vegas, NV

Debra "Debbie" Davis Finau, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on August 26, 2014. She was born December 5, 1953 in Payson, Utah to Dora Beck and Wade A. Davis. She was raised in Alpine, Utah and graduated from American Fork High School in 1972. She was married to Afei Taulalo Finau on April 2, 1989 and they were later sealed for time and all eternity in the St.George, Utah Temple. Debbie spent her life devoted to her husband and best friend, as well as her four loving children and the four children she was blessed with through marriage. She will always be remembered for her motherly loving nature, bright personality, infectious smile and her love for Diet Coke. She loved sewing, cooking, crafting, being outdoors and most of all spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, her children, Brandon Wilkin, Cobe (Tanisha) Wilkin, Heidi (Jeremy) Draney, Katea (Austin) DeLeeuw, 40+ grandchildren and one great-grand baby. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant son Chance Wilkin, sister Barbara and brother Stephen.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 30, 2014 in the Sky Mtn. LDS Church located at 452 North 2600 West, Hurricane, Utah at 11 am. There will be a viewing prior to services at 9:30 am. Arrangements are made under the direction of Heideman Hughes Mortuary, 435-674-5000.

May God bless the Finau family during this difficult trial! Debbie was full of compassion. I enjoyed talking with her when she lived here In Mesquite! Although I haven't seen her in a while, I have not forgotten our many visits! Til we meet again...Ronya Cox

I thought Debbie was a beautiful person. glad I got the chance to visit with her again, since school, I was shocked to hear she had passed on, and it made me so sad, to loose you, You have many friends that miss you. I am still shocked over you, it has been hard,Bless you sweet Lady, I will miss you ! To the family, I send much love and prayers to you, I am so sorry. She loved all her family she talked so much of all. My sympathy goes out to you. I will remember you always my Dear friend Debbie.
