Many years ago working as a courier I delivered a parcel to Dame Elisabeths home, Dame Elisabeth answered the door and thanked me for coming all the way to deliver the parcel and asked me to wait a second and came back with a box of chocolates , when I explained that was being paid she told me I am sure it is not enough,that small gesture made me realise what a caring person she was and all these years on I still remember her kindness.
