It was an honor to serve with Jon in the 67 APS. I was always impressed by his ability to learn fast and then mentor others. He was very dedicated and dependable. It was an honor to serve with him. He will be missed by many.

From the time Jon and I worked together to help get his Airman of the Year paperwork in order, I was always amazed by Jon's intelligence and dedication. He was a leader and a person you could always depend on. He was quick to learn and always willing to help others with their work and difficulties. Jon will be missed by many. It was an honor to work with him and get to know him.

As JT's First Sergeant, I got to know him working through the challenges he faced during his last years in the Air Force. Jon was always the mentor, working with new airmen, making sure they were ready to take over for those leaving. He never gave up and as I talked to his family, I knew this was a strong family bound together by their love for each other. But it seems the heavens needed another mentor. Not all wars are fought on the battlefield. Shirt.

My friend, my brother, my mentor a true leader among friends and soldiers. I'm thankful for the privilege to have known Jt., serving with him all over the globe. Witnessing his wit and intelligence in all types of situations and conditions, was totally unprecedented! My wife (Marlous) and I were fortunate to have witnessed the love he had for Priscilla, Angela, Aidan on their wedding day! Watching the devotion toward his family on that year long deployment, He missed them dearly! With great respect and sorrow I will miss you Jt.!!!! Mr. and Mrs. Taylor your son will be truly be missed and respected!

Dear Taylor Family:
I am heartbroken with the loss of John. He was my very best friend when we were young and was like a brother to me. A truly great person in every aspect. Your family made me feel as if I was one of your own. I know my family and myself truly mourns the loss of a wonderful friend and one whom we considered a family member. I am so saddened that I cannot be there to offer you some form of comfort but know that he will forever live in our hearts. Please know that I offer you all of my love for bringing such a beautiful light into the world with John. We love you all and I am truly so sorry for your loss. Ryan Ward and family.

JT, words cannot explain the way your absence feels...even knowing it was less than a week I saw your face. I am at peace knowing that the last thing I said to you was I LOVE YOU, as I gave you a hug. Know you are LOVED dear friend, for as you taught many in this lifetime...THAT IS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS.
