"The greatest casualty is being forgotten" Wounded Warrior Motto.

My heart is full of sadness for Jon's family. Mrs Taylor, words can't express my sympathies in this time of sorrow. I came to know Jon when he was a young Airman. We have the same birthday, February 6th. There was a group of "young-ens" who came to us at the same time. Jon stood out. I depended on him for critical missions and thoroughly enjoyed our service together. Jon and I were on the same team for almost all our tours. Boy, we did see the world! Jon was bright, intelligent, compassionate, and loved life. He rose through the ranks very fast, but it was his reward for dedication to the squadron and for leading his fellow airmen. Jon never hesitated to pass on his knowledge and expertise to all. He was selfless that way. He was a positive role model. Your request to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project in his name is noble. They try to provide complete rehabilitative effort to assist warriors as they recover and transition back to civilian life. I have been involved with WWP for many years. First as a VA Director and then as a volunteer.

I ask all my fellow airmen to honor Jon with a donation to WWP ........ Let's all PAY IT FORWARD ! ! ! !

God bless, Mrs Taylor and Jon's children.
