DEAN, Elizabeth Mary (nee Venman) - Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, February 11, 2013 in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley. Cherished mother of Stan (Doreen), Bonnie (the late David Guest), Laura (Mike Attwood) and George (Trish). Proud nana of Connie, Angie, Richard, Dave, Shannon, Jay, Eric, Matthew, Zachary and Jacob and great-nan of Kyla, Joey, Emily, Skylar, Lauryn, Avery, Abby, Nolan, Lukas, Cael, Mckenna, Charlotte and Hayden. Deeply missed by her siblings Ellen, Jean, Martin, Fred and sister-in-law Rita. Betty joins her husband Stan for what would have been their 63rd wedding anniversary. Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Thursday, February 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, February 15 at 5 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
