ARTHUR GRICE Obituary

ARTHUR GRICE 1920 - 2013 RCAF WWII VETERAN Passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 after 92 great years that were filled with love and joy. He was married to Dorothy (King) for 62 years and he will once again be by her side. Loved by his sons and family: Jim and Lorrie, Gary and Shirley, Bill (predeceased) and Karen. Grandfather to Brent, Kelly, Kyle, Lindsay, Samantha, Tia, and Kingsley. Great- grandfather to 16 wonderful children. He was always active, a true handyman, whose family came first in his heart and actions. He started working at a young age delivering newspapers and eventually retired from Kodak Canada in 1983. Art and Dorothy enjoyed travelling, friends and loved the family get togethers. Art was always very proud of his enlistment with the RCAF and his service to his country during WWII. He loved telling stories of "how it was done in the old days". During his recent years, in Hamilton, he was fortunate to find companionship with Mary Sakata. A celebration of his life will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Mohawk and Fennell), Hamilton on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 1-3 p.m., with sharing of memories at 2:30 p.m. www.dermodys.com What we are, we learned from our parents - we will pass that love to our children
