Cher Josee, Joy & families:

Our hearts go out to you all, dear friends! We are so heartbroken for all the losses you have suffered this past year: NORMAND, MANON & BERT! GOD is certainly testing you... Our two consolations are, FIRSTLY: that you two sisters-in-law are as close as true blood sisters and support each other as such! The children too, all grew up together and remain close... and their PAPA BERT, truly loved you ALL! He got the cottage for you all, and I hope that you will continue building on all the beautiful memories you all have of happy times there! SECONDLY, we are consoled that ALL three of them, BERT, MANON & NORMAND are altogether... and it is from where they can watch over you all, and send you ALL the help & guidance you will need! The service and reception you held in Honour of BERT, did him and all of you so proud! MANON, would have just loved it! Great job, ladies... esp. VICTORIA! We LOVE you all, and will always be here for you... BLESS you! <3 <3 All from 9 SHAWFORD CRESCENT...

So sorry for the loss of our dear Uncle Bert. My prayers and thoughts go out to Josee and Joy and to your children. I hope you find comfort in knowing he is now back in the arms of the love of his life. We all have such wonderful memories of our Uncle who never failed to entertain and amuse us. My children remember fondly when he took them and their cousins on a tour of the set for Mr.Dressup. I am so glad that I had a chance to view Uncle Bert's amazing art just a few months ago. He truly was an accomplished artist and a wonderful human being.

My sincere condolences Josee and Joy and your families. I was always pleased to be in your father's company. Uncle Bert was a talented man with an engaging and imaginative sense of humour.

Please know you are in my heart and in my prayers at this saddest of times. Lesley Carol Prince.

Uncle Bert always treated each and every one of us with kind regard and respect - even when we were children. Memories of him make me smile.
