Janet, on this Canada Day, we are all thinking of Joshua, and hope that knowing your loss is being shared will be of some comfort to you. I know Joshua is looking down with such pride, upon you. Take care of yourself.

Janet, I don't know if you remember me but I attended the Memorial that you gave in honour of your Son. It was a very beautiful and moving service. I still remember him in my prayers every day and I also pray that your pain at being "temporarily" parted from him will become easier to bear.

Dear Janet, I am so very sorry to hear of Joshua's death. His bigger than life personality made me feel he would live forever. I was shocked to hear of how he was killed. I am speechless, as well as heartbroken. Time does not east the loss of such a wonderful friend. Although we went our own ways after high school, Joshua will forever remain a part of my wonderful childhood memories. My prayers are with you.

First and foremost I want to thank all those that came out to the Memorial I gave for my Son Joshua. It was incredibly touching to me to see the amount of people that did not even know my Son come out to pay their honour and respect for Joshua. For those that were also there that knew him I would like to thank them for taking the time also to come out and pay Tribute to my Son. Joshua, you were an extraordinary Son that I miss more than life itself. The excruciating pain of losing you is overwhelming for me. I never thought I would ever be in this life without you. You were so full of life with so much ahead of you but only the Lord knows why he felt your journey had to come to an end in this life. In my eyes, you will always be My Little Cub who I remember held out your hand to me a long time ago. Gripping it softly, I grabbed hold of your heart, and I knew it became a part of me forever. You brightened my life with your caring heart and beautiful smile. I will always cherish you Son and want you to know how very proud I am of you. I will love you forever Joshua and will rejoice at the time I will see you again in Heaven.

Janet, my heart goes out to you at the loss of your Son. The Memorial you gave for him was extremely overwhelming and touching. You showed so many aspects of your Son's life and legacy. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of Joshua's incredible yet tragic journey.

It was an honour and a privilege to attend and be a part of such a beautiful Memorial for Joshua. I pray each day that no mother or family will have to go through what Janet endures each day. Janet, your Son was a Hero and will be forever.
