Reading the Saturday Globe and Mail and having coffee. Simple things, that's what Mark liked to do, he often told me.

The Toronto Bicycling Network was a big part of Mark's life. Mark and I worked together on the TBN City Walk program. We took turns leading the walks. Mark would often entertain the group with his expert knowledge of Toronto. We also stopped at a lot of Tim Horton and other coffee shops before, during and after the walks. I provided a few photos of Mark in action on the City walks. Everybody will miss you Mark.

Mark, I will miss our Sunday City walks. I'm sorry you were never happy with my walking shoes...

It is nice to see pictures of Mark enjoying himself outside of work. He really needed it. Great comments from an assortment of friends. He was a unique character and I'll miss him.

Having worked with Mark over 20 years, I am in shock and disbelief. We miss you Mark. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Mark was a great guy and a gentle soul. I will miss our discussions - mostly political - I will miss his unique sense of humour. Running in to him on the Danforth on a Sunday was always fun.
My Condolences to his family

I remember Mark very well. He worked for me and with me as a very conscientious worker always enthusiastic and positive. He was a joy and delight and made his contribution to life with spirit and love.

So shocked to hear this. My sincere condolences to the family.
