MLADEN BANJAC Obituary

MLADEN BANJAC Passed away peacefully on December 24, 2012 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Ilinka for 62 years. Loving father of John, Lily (Milan) Malobabic and Savka (Milan) Marijan. Proud grandfather of Christine, Kimberley, Danjela (Joshua), Radmila (Anthony), Adrijana and Aleksandra. Mladen was a WWII survivor, part of the WWII Serbian Chetnik Liberation, immigrated to Canada in 1952 and a Hurricane Hazel survivor. Following that, he set up the family farming business in the Holland Marsh, which he operated until his death. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter 'Yorke' Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto (at Windermere Ave., east of Jane subway), on Friday from 6-9 p.m. Evening prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 212 Delaware Ave., Toronto, on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment York Cemetery.
