To the family,
Sid was a good man.He never mentioned the fact that he had medical problems, a man of a few words. His wife Donna (my first cousin) told me years ago about Sid's medical illness, otherwise I'm sure I never would have known. Sid was very courageous in his battle with cancer and would be right back on the computer whenever he got home from check-ups or hospital stays. My family (Donna's relatives)shared many great times with Sid and Donna over the years that were unforgettable. He joined in the fun and music with everyone..Siddy was a great guy. My condolences to all of the family.
I will miss you Sid, very much. Dorothy Partridge

Sometimes, in life, you want to pause. Sometimes you want to fast-forward. But there are those amazing times where you just want to rewind again and again.

To the Family
I had the honour to work with with your dad at General Vanier. When you think of Vanier you have to think of "Mr. Berry" and his Print Shop. If you changed jobs in the morning, he had your new business cards by noon. He always had the interest of the students at heart, and did what he could to make them the best at what they did. Dedication like he had for students and staff is a thing of the past. I am one of the "Lucky Ones" to have met and worked with such a wonderful man. My sincere condolences on your loss.

I have so many fond memories of Mr. Berry from childhood to present day. He was so supportive of us all and always expressed an interest in whatever we were doing. He always made me feel welcome in his home. I will remember his courage and strength in the face of illness. He was blessed with a wonderful family and they were blessed by him. Love Jo

I will never forget the passion you displayed in your Graphic Arts/Print Shop classsroom at General Vanier Secondary School. Every year you always pulled through to prepare the school for a 'Springfest Celebration', with the dedicated help of your students, overall school spirit soared, your class supplied hundreds of buttons and signs for a fun filled week of activities but I will never forget how you motivated everyone around the school to take part and enjoy themselves. Never once did you ever refuse to help promote our school! On behalf of former staff and students, THANK YOU for your unselfish dedication, and may God Bless.
