I too, just heard that Alex passed away. He was man of so many talents and a great conversationalist! He supported the Regina Whittlers and Woodcarvers with his beautiful carvings and pyrography and most of all with his willingness to offer gentle advice, often accompanied by a joke. My thoughts have been with Irene, especially, and my sympathy is with all the family, of which he was so proud.
