Doug and Dawn, my thoughts are with you and your family.

My namesake was such a treasure of a lady. I am so glad that I was able to keep in touch with her over these many years. Starting in Elstow many years ago. My sincere condolences to Wayne and Doug and families. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the funeral. I will always fondly remember your Mom and the Richards family.

I want to send my condolences to your family on the passing of your mother. She was a great lady and her and your Dad were so good to my folks Mitt & Kate Newkirk. I would never be able to count the number of card games they played. I imagine that the card games are back in full swing as there are the 4 of them again. Helen Gunn (Newkirk)

I was very sorry to discover Audrey's obituary yesterday. We have been friends for over forty years and I most recently visited her in Saskatoon last January. She seemed very well at that point and I was planning to see her again after New Year's. We were both part of the Maple Creek United Church choir and it was their custom to have us all back to their house after the annual Carol Festival at Christmas time.
She was a ficture at the Credit Union and we always enjoyed meeting ther there. She and Earl were devoted New Democrats and we spent many hours together discussing politics, and working on election campaigns.
At my last visit, we finally got around to talking about her early life at Scott and discovered that we had known many people in common as I am from Unity and have known Blanche since 4-H days. I am so glad we had that talk.
She has lived a good long life and we should be willing to let her go but I will miss her very much.
Sincerely, Irene Ahner
