My deepest condolences to Bob's family. I will always remember his remarkable ability to take any situation and with his great story telling ability, turn it into something hilarious. You will be missed my friend.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We went to Nutana together. He was a great guy. He had a wonderful sense of humour. I have fond memories of him as he was a part of the good old double blue days and certainly a part of our schools spirit. TIL we meet again my friend. Love Gail

I am sad to read of Bob's passing. I worked with him at the courier office for over six years. I enjoyed hearing of his golf and travel adventures and discussing current events with him. He will be missed. My condolences to you, Kristine.

Grade 7 Ping Pong champ. Excelled at most sports, almost unbeatable at Ping Pong. From a former class-mate at Buena Vista.

Dear Kristine:
I was saddened to learn of the passing of a friend from the "good old days". I first met your Dad on the ice in the old Saskatoon Arena, where we both played in the Friday night Kinsmen Pee-Wee Hockey League. Your Dad played for the "Canadians" and I played for the "Black Hawks". He was a skilled player.
We met again when we both moved on to Nutana Collegiate. Like many others, I was instantly attracted to his dynamic personality and sense of humour. Many of the sayings that I still use today were created by your Dad.
Although I played golf regularly in those days, I was never as proficient as your Dad and sadly, never had an opportunity to spend a day on the golf course with him.
But I certainly remember the fun times. In addition to his skills in golf and badminton, I also admired his intelligence. Your Dad was a very bright guy and I think that he might have been bored by the regular school curriculum that was the norm in those days. I think it is unfortunate that programs didn't exist to see that his great intellect was totally developed.
Although this weekend seems to have a lot happening for me, I am planning to travel to "Toon Town" to say Good Bye to this Special Guy.
Sincere sympathy.

Larger than life and always a friend! We could listen to Bob's golf stories and experiences for hours on end.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad Kristine. He was our courier for maybe 15 years or so at the Cory mine. I enjoyed his trivia and funny stories in the mornings. He would sometimes bring me muffins. Him and his kindness will never be forgotten. I was so sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with you and all who knew him.

Jet will be missed in our golf foursome as well as afterwards when he shared so many stories of the day or past. Bob was a great story teller and was always surrounded by people, even when he was at a place where he didn't know anyone. He will be sorely missed. RIP Jet!

I knew Bob many years playing badminton and occasionally he was my mixed double partner. He was always funny.
