My deepest sympathies to the family. Our thoughts are with you. Cécile lived a long and happy life. The rest of my text will sound odd. Cécile was my cousin. I only saw her twice in my life. In 1967 for the Expo, when she came to visit with her mother Lucienne. I was only five years old back then. And again in 1975 I believe, at Denise's place in Granby. You see Lucienne was my mother Emma's oldest sister. My mom was born in 1924, the 8th child of Hyacinthe Guay and Emma Pion. As a kid my mom played with her niece Cécile how was actually two years older than her... My mom got married at 37 so I ended up with a cousin 40 years older than me! Special hey!
I never actually knew when exactly Théophile and Lucienne moved West from Québec. That I'd like to know. Finalement, nous ne vous avons pas oubliés. Bisous du Québec.

Dear Cecile I will miss you soo much you were like a grandmother to me. I loved spending time with you going shopping, visiting, and you telling me stories about Darcy and your life growing up. I will never forget when I first met you and John you were in the kitchen preparing a lunch of pickles, cheese, tomatoes, meat and buns. We never went hungry thats for sure. Every time we would come with our kids yours and Johns eyes would just brighten and you would be soo happy to spend time with them. I knew that family was very important to both of you. Thank you soo much for taking me into your family with open arms. Love Christina

Dear Grandma I will always cherish the times at the lake , it was a childhood that most children only dreamed about. You and grandpa were always there when we needed you no matter what. Even though you are now gone thoughts of you and grandpa will remain in my head each and every night when I close my eyes. Love Darcy
