Florence, my sincere condolences. I just heard this sad news. Don was so talented and friendly! He spoke to me numerous times, which delighted me as a young teenager of 15. Its not often that an adult will take the time to converse with a tight lipped adolescent. I certainly admired his many skills and his very kind demeanor. You both were very patient and mentored me. It was incredibly appreciated and very over due to let you know! Tu es dans mes prieres.

We were very saddened by the passing of Uncle Don. He and Auntie Florence were always welcoming into their home when we visited St. Brieux. Of course he will also be remembered for his exceptional fiddling skills.

Hugs and our heartfelt condolences to Auntie Florence. R.I.P. Uncle Don.

I remember the picnics down by the lake with the fiddle playing going well into the night. I also remember all the suppers Uncle Don and Auntie Florence would make when we came for a visit from Saskatoon. Many many many fond memories of Uncle Don.

Rest in Peace Uncle Don.

So sorry to hear this. I definitely remember the large family dinners, the fiddle playing, and the time he took me up in his plane. He will be truly missed. Big hugs to you Auntie Flo. I will also be there in spirit at the funeral :(.

I have so many great memories of playing the spoons while Uncle Don played his violin. An amazing musician. So glad we visited last time we were home. Will miss you Uncle Don.

Such a wise, kind and gentle man. I remember well when he and Aunt Florence took myself and my sister to BC for a vacation. It meant a lot to us "prairie farm girls" to see the mountains! So many wonderful memories. Much love Uncle Don, and also hugs to Aunt Florence. Will be at the funeral in spirit....
