My sincere condolenses to the Laing family, especially to Brent and Brian. It's been a long while since I've seen you both, but have thought of you often. I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom.

What a joy it was to meet Betty at Allie and Jon's wedding a few years ago. Robb's dance with her always brings a smile to our faces. Our deepest sympathies.

It was a special Remembrance Day to share with you and your family remembering the special woman you called your Mom and how we all remember her in the same way... caring, full of humor and always could have a Happy Thought whenever we met. No matter how many years our Mum's are with us it is difficult when her physical presence has left you. She will be with you with every beat of your hearts and your many memories will pop up even when you least expect .... and there she will be ... "smiling down and embracing you with her forever lasting love."
With friendship, Doug & Marilyn McLeay & families.

Sadly I only met Betty when she and my Mum shared a room in the hospital... What a lovely person, she was a pleasure to meet and I admired her courage and realistic attitude in facing her final days. She loved and was loved by her family and friends. My condolences to all who loved her.

Our deepest sympathy to the Laing family. Betty was a sweet lady who was full of life and laughter. May happy memories bring you some comfort at this sad and difficult time. Love Sharon (nee Begg) & Dan Hunt - Winnipeg

My condolences to Betty's family and close friends. My mother (Phyllis Oliver) always spoke fondly of Betty, and I enjoyed getting to know her during my time as Chaplain to the Widows Group at St. Martin's. She will be remembered as a very delightful, up-beat lady ... someone who had such a positive outlook on life! I am grateful for her cheerful nature. Sheila Lavender

Betty will certainly be missed. Always enjoyed my time spent with Betty on my visits to Saskatoon. From Marg Landry, Quispamsis, NB ( Hazel's cousin).

My mom recently met Betty at the Hairdresser in Market Mall. Their appointments were every Friday. They would greet each other with a 'hi Betty' , 'hi Betty' then there would be a laugh and the conversation would continue! She was a sweet lovely lady! Condolences to the family!
