DUMAS, Alfred
The death of Mr. Alfred Dumas, 92 years, of Saskatoon occurred on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at St. Paul's Hospital. Alfred "Fred" was born on March 12, 1925 and grew up near St. Boniface, MB. On August 19, 1967 he married Alma Studer. They lived in Winnipeg where he worked in the hardware business. Following his retirement, he started driving for a courier service, mainly delivering for Woolco. In 1990, Fred and Alma moved to an acreage near Grandora where they lived with their beloved dogs. Alma passed away in 2011 and Fred remained in their home until November 2015. In December 2015 he moved to Miel's Private Care Home where he lived until the present. (Special thanks to Maria and her staff for their compassionate care and making Fred feel at home.) Fred is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Alma Dumas; his parents and all of his siblings. The Funeral Mass for Fred will be celebrated on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 211 Avenue O South, Saskatoon. Memorial donations in Fred's memory may be made to The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Malinoski & Danyluik Funeral Home, Humboldt (306-682-1622).

May God bless the family of Fred,as we knew him, Fred and Alma never missed a Sunday at St.John Bosch.thats were we first met.Later on we met at the coffee shop at WalMart,once in a while,then Didn,t see him,Couldn,t find out where he went,so sorry to see him leave. Nice to see his family took care of him, God bless you all. Rest in peace Fred.
