Dear family: I had the privilege of getting to know George during the time he lived at the Men's SALP group home in Waldheim. He would proudly show me many photos of his family. When I took the men grocery shopping in Saskatoon, he would love to stop at Denny's for coffee. I have many fond memories of our interactions. George was truly a delightful person, and he enriched my life.
Our condolences to you and your family, I was thinking of you all today,
Margaret & Henry....our thoughts and prayers are with you. I know you have great memories of George and will miss him greatly, but I know you are happy he is in a better place!!
How lucky you were to have such a wonderful person in your lives. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.
Alan and Pat Wilson and family
Our sympathies to George's family. We all loved George here in Waldheim - he was in our "Friends" Sunday School class at Salem Church and was full of faith, hugs, and love. He wanted to sing "Kneel at the Cross" every Sunday in Sunday school - he would crook his finger at me (his teacher) and say "Come here. I want to sing Jesus will meet you there" He will be missed by many. He was a great guy!!!
